How to alter USB Serial Port VCP settings
Some TrueCode OBD interfaces may need the VCP setting altered within Windows Device Manager. This is how to make the alteration.
- Open Device Manager and then expand the USB Serial Converter list.
- Right click on USB Serial Converter. Then choose 'Properties'.
- Select the 'Advanced' tab.
- Check the box next to 'Load VCP'
- Now remove and then reinsert your device.
- A new USB Serial Port should be created.
